Free Online ADHD & Pomodoro Focus Timer

A Pomodoro timer that runs the whole cycle for you: 25 minutes of focus, a 5 minute break, and a longer 15 minute break after every fourth session. Colours change as time runs low, which many people with ADHD find easier to follow than numbers.

Press Start and an ADHD & Pomodoro focus timer runs the full cycle for you: 25 minutes of focus, then a 5 minute break, with a longer 15 minute break after every 4 focus sessions.

A sound plays at the end of each session and each break, and the screen shows what comes next. If you finish early, tap Skip to move on. Tap Edit to change any of the lengths.

A tip that helps: before you start, write down the one task you will work on. If your mind wanders during a session, jot the thought down and come back to it in your break.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Pomodoro Technique?

It is a simple way to focus: work on one task for 25 minutes, take a 5 minute break, and after four rounds take a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes. Francesco Cirillo came up with it in the late 1980s using a tomato-shaped kitchen timer, which is where the name comes from (pomodoro is Italian for tomato).

Can I change the focus and break times?

Yes. Tap Edit to set your own focus, short break and long break lengths, and how often the long break comes round. Some people prefer 50 minutes of focus with 10 minute breaks.

Does the next session start on its own?

Yes. It moves from focus to break and back automatically, with a sound each time (and a notification, if you turn that on in Settings). Tap Skip if you want to move on early.

Will it keep going if I switch tabs?

Yes. It goes by your device's clock, so it stays on time in a background tab and the sound still plays at each switch. Just keep the tab open.
